Salvation
Are you ready for a change in your life? Maybe you’ve been hurt, made some bad choices, or feel lost, and find yourself wondering, “What’s the point?”. Well, Jesus knows your pain and He wants to be there with you through everything you face. You can choose to have a relationship with Him; to accept His love and grace. It will be the best decision you ever make and change your life like nothing else!
God says in Romans 10:9 that if we make Jesus Lord (the leader) of our lives, and believe that He was raised from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 19:13 says that: Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If you’re ready to start a new life with Jesus leading you and experience His true peace and joy in your life, pray this simple prayer out loud:
“Jesus, I know that I have made mistakes and need You to save my life—I need You as my Savior. I have tried to do things on my own for too long, and I know it doesn’t work. So today, I give my life to You. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the dead. Help me to live my life for You and You alone. Thank You for Your unending love, forgiveness, and grace in my life. Thank You for a fresh start! Today, I start my new life as a part of Your family.”
In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
This is just the beginning of a new life in Christ. Once you have surrendered to God, you can ask in faith to be filled with the Holy Spirit
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. ACTS 2:1-4
Baptism
We must be baptized into Christ through the Water Baptism after we have repented of our sins. Water Baptism is a sacrament (a sacred act) instituted by Jesus Christ by which we are baptized into Christ through total immersion in water.
It’s not His will that anyone should perish but have everlasting life. Before you go down in the water. Baptism does not save you. Baptism is an act of obedience that symbolizes or shows two things: the story of Jesus and the story of a person’s salvation. As we go under the water and come up, we act out the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. For we are buried with Jesus in baptism and raise to walk in a brand new life.
Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus, On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” ACTS 19:4-5 NIV
Visitors
Welcome to True Love Evangelistic Ministries. Where the TRUE LOVE of God is in the House!
What a joy it is to have you come and worship with us. If it is your first time with us, expect to be welcomed throughout the service! Not because we want to embarrass you, but because we simply want you to know how happy we are that you are visiting us. We believe that life is best lived with family. Whether you’re a first-time guest or a lifelong member of our church, we want you to feel loved, encouraged and empowered every time you walk out of our doors.
Become a Member
We are excited that you are inquiring about becoming a member of True Love Evangelistic Ministries. We have a simple but somewhat formal process to become a member. Church members aren’t asked to do anything more than the Bible asks of any Christian. Becoming a member is an expression of commitment to True Love E.M.
You move from guest to family member. Members invest in fellowship and pray for others. They volunteer and look for ways to serve. They give sacrificially as the Bible describes. And they invite the accountability and support that a church family provides.
If you are in agreement with this, we ask that you join us on a Sunday and let us know you would like to become a member. We will be honored to have you join our church family!
